Declaration of Independence: Usurpation is Treason<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although we generally refer to that list of abuses in the Declaration of Independence as \u201cgrievances\u201d – that\u2019s not how they were described in the text. Instead, they were referred to as \u201cusurpations,\u201d or a theft of power from the people. Sounds familiar, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
