Dutch women did not work in those times, they looked after their children and families. Collectively they decided to boycott it (I remember is was about the price or so) and not to buy any pork produces and meat for 1 week. Panic followed as they had to look for thousands of cooling container places all over the country, rent or borrow them to fill them with all the meat and pigs that was not being sold anymore. In one week the housewives / mothers did win and all was well
