Utahpatriots.com is a platform for any and all Patriots in Utah that support our Founding Fathers, founding principles, and the freedoms and liberties which have been maintained and fought for by patriots. We have no intention of attending the 2nd Amendment rally on January 17th in Salt Lake City and have advised all within our reach to avoid it. We were informed that a separate group obtained permits prior to us, and as the goals of that group are in significant conflict with our own, we do not wish to associate with them or lend credibility to their event. We have been informed that bad actors intend to use this protest as a way to incite violence and frame patriots for it, and we refuse to take the bait.

There is evil at work here. We have seen bad actors masquerading as patriots cause physical, emotional, and financial harm to those we care about. Leftist radicals have doxxed some of us, emailing our employers with the intent of causing us to be fired. Radicals have brandished guns at us in the last weeks for simply flying an American flag or peacefully walking in patriotic parades. In several cases we have been shot at and threatened with violence. Peaceful Americans who have done nothing more than support President Trump, democracy, or our nation’s flag are being targeted and harmed, and while we are concerned that this will continue here in our backyard, we will not be intimidated by evildoers. We will hold the line and fight for life, liberty, equality, and the right of everyone to enjoy freedom of speech and the right to worship where and how they wish. No one should have to live in fear, especially for the “crime” of loving their country. We will not live in fear. We hope to bring patriots together, to let them know they are not alone in loving their country, and help preserve the America we all love.
