For more years than I can remember, before the internet, I carried a small portable radio around with me everywhere..to make sure I never missed a Rush Limbaugh show.
I will never forget while visiting my family in Texas..I made a appointment to a famous dental clinic in Mexico. They pick you up from where your staying in a small van, people from all over the world are collected from motels and homes to drive across the boarder.
After 20 or so people were gathered and we headed for the boarder, I turned on my radio not using ear phones I had to hold it close to my ear as to not disturb those around me..it was time for Rushs show..his theme music played..Someone on the bus yelled out..Is it time for Rush..I said, yes it is..everyone on that bus yelled out turn it up please..
I wonder if Rush knows how much we needed him and love him? Still do all these years he has been our true messenger ….
