Fast forward to 2020. A person with whom I know very well works in a Critical Care Unit at a local hospital. They have a robot that has eliminated the need for doctors to be on staff after normal working hours. When a doctor is needed after hours the robot has the floor plan, and drives itself to the patients room. This robot is networked with a contacting set of remote physicians allowing the doctoring to be done much like Skype. Though the attending nurse does assist the robot, it does show the future of our healthcare direction. The doctors have no past relationship with their patients and access the WWW system to view patient histories. Another related recent development is that the hospitals now staff doctors to units for which they are responsible for all the patients therein. No longer are the days where you have your own doctors providing personal care to patients. The on call has the ability to access the patient’s in their care medical histories. For good or bad anyone wanting to know your health aspects are only governed by the HIPPA laws. Like the article portrayed, the system is ripe for those who wish to steal the fruit, with little safeguards upon who can access those records.

The generosity of our government in providing aid to schools all around the globe is astounding. Now seeing the scale of the kickbacks in the latest Biden Ukraine scheme all I can ask is, do all of these gifts to these other parties of our tax dollars include a kickback, favor, or to support an agenda? I’m at the point now that every aid package contains a quid pro quo in some fashion or another.
We stand Trillion upon Trillions in debt yet they dole out dollars without any fiscal responsibility to our own country.

Senator Jeff Sessions brought an amendment to floor S.AMDT.2374 to S.1642 calling for a lowering of the academic standards for entry into U.S. medical schools. His reason was supposedly the need for more medical providers and keeping medical education dollars in the U.S. rather than having them go offshore to the Brand-X alleged medical schools in the Caribbean. This is a classic example of how an issue is presented in one framework when the real goal is something quite different. The real reason for lowering standards is because IBM and the other Information Technology companies are selling “Decision Support” systems to replace highly qualified doctors.
